Just after an excellent start with the magnificent New Year’s concert of the Vienna Philharmonic, it is time to wish us all a happy New Year 2021.

2020 was an Annus horribili, but 2021 is in danger of getting off an equally slippery slope: masquerades of costly “green deals” and “great resets”, windfalls to strengthen the abusive mother of all that is becoming a police-sanitary-precautionary state, imperial and missionary redeployment of the American establishment, Europe at a standstill, uninhibited China, and a fairly disoriented Switzerland.

If everything was clean and tidy, then nothing would have to be undertaken. So let us rejoice in accomplishing our duties like Sisyphus rolling his stone; he didn’t even complain about it.

To all of you I wish a good start in the new year, with a good dose of forgetfulness for last year; for the following we will have to proceed step by step.
