Their sole quality? They know how to bet to win each time.<\/p>\n<p>In the middle or at the end of this century the climate may have evolved in only two possible ways:<br \/>\nit will have continued to warm up or it will have stopped warming and even gotten cooler.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the first case they will say: we all are the culprits again!<br \/>\nNasty and irresponsible humanity which did not show enough commitment to undertake the necessary actions; once more mankind shows itself incapable of redemption..<\/li>\n<li>In the second case it will be: Hurrah, we saved the planet!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Science, knowledge, and wisdom will have played no r\u00f4le in this.<\/p>\n<p>The reader is asked to believe that I am neither pessimistic nor depressive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is ironic, paradoxical and certainly unfortunate.
