Picked in the June 25 edition of Nature:
Who found a wider biodiversity in tropical or temperate climates than in a desert ? Is a spell of drought a climate change?
Everything changed since 2000, even the climate. Please choose: climate change is taking place:
every day
about each year
every 7 years
every human generation
over a few centuries
over millenia
over longer periods
Could,… if… thank you !
Let’s not forget: Nature describes itself to be a publisher of “high impact scientific and medical information”, not a fortune teller.
While the Pope makes reference to scientific studies, Nature (the modern times Vatican of the orthodox way of interpreting science) feels itself confirmed by the fact that it is the Pope who “warns in strong language that unabated climate change will cause severe disruptions to ecosystems and human societies”.
If it is written in IPCC’s summaries then it’s true for the Pope ; and if the Pope says it, then truth has been confirmed for Nature. Circular and potent argumentation!
A universal usefulness has been finally found for the absolute ruler of the city of St-Pierre.
